Hope in Full Bloom
Hope is in full bloom at Starfish Project. This season has been a humbling one to say the least. Plans were made and canceled and made and canceled again and again. Dreams have seemed dashed among the uncertainty of it all. Yet the women of Starfish Project have amazed me with their awe-inspiring resilience, perseverance and strength.
I have seen hope come alive as each person encourages and cares for one another with deliveries of fruit, flowers and even roast duck. I have seen hope bloom in break time dance parties, in delayed birthday celebrations and even in the midst of quarantine. This hope is beautiful, it’s fun and it’s a priceless gift we can share with one another.
Bai, our Design Quality Control Manager, continues to inspired me to find ways to catalyze hope and joy in my family, community and here at Starfish Project.

Through out the week, Bai brings us together as she delivers fruit around the office. She invites us to leave all the problems of the world behind for just a few minutes, and brings us into joyful (and delicious) connection. Those moments are necessary. They are the refreshing water that brings forth new beautiful life blooming amidst a season of chaos. These simple moments remind us that we are not alone.
We launch our new Blush & Bloom collection with the heart that it too can be an invitation, like Bai’s, to celebrate beauty and hope bursting forth in the season you are in.
