Jenny has just returned from a visit to our Riverside Branch where we are preparing to celebrate 10 years of restoring hope in their city. There have been countless lives transformed, vocational training certificates earned and families impacted over the past 10 years at Riverside! When Biyu first joined Starfish Project, she was struggling to work through a lifetime of trauma. Now, she is the head of Production at Riverside and manages over 20 women!
Biyu was one of the first women to join our program when we started the Riverside office and shelter. She has been with us for 10 years! On her recent visit, Jenny shared how impactful it was to think back on Biyu’s transformation.
